Privacy policy.

The short version: your favicon source never leaves your browser, we keep almost nothing about you, and the things we do keep are listed below in plain English.
What we collect
We collect the minimum we need to make FaviconKit work: your email address (to send you receipts and download links), your account name if you sign in via Clerk, and payment metadata returned by Paddle.
We do not store your uploaded images. Image processing happens entirely in your browser using <canvas>; the source file never leaves your device.
How we use it
Emails are used for transactional messages only — receipts, password resets, and the occasional service-impacting notice. No marketing blasts.
Aggregate, anonymous usage data helps us decide what to build next. It cannot be tied back to you.
Third-party services
Clerk handles authentication and stores your name and email under their own privacy policy.
Paddle is our merchant of record and processes payments. We never see your card number.
PostHog records anonymized usage events. We do not link these to your account.
Data retention
Account records stay until you delete your account. Receipts are kept for seven years to comply with tax law.
Generation history is yours, and you can wipe it any time from your account page.
Your rights
You can export your data, delete your account, or ask us what we have on file by emailing privacy@faviconkit.app. We will respond within fourteen days.
Contact
